Piesporter Domherr Riesling Kabinett trocken

A satiny, smooth, delightful dry Kabinett, fermented spontaneously and still very clean. Domherr is inclined toward opulence, but in both vineyard and cellar Heinz aims for (and achieves) wines of balance and relative reserve. Perhaps best consumed on the veranda looking onto the Mosel and the breathtaking amphitheater-shaped vineyard opposite, but the bottle itself gets you halfway home.
