Vineyard: old vines from the small middle terraces of Winninger Röttgen Soil: gray-blue slate and iron-rich red slate. Vinification: skin contact, wild-yeast fermentation on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks; no fining. Notes: more fine and open in style than the wines from the site of Uhlen.
